Fundraise in Your Community Are you passionate about helping the local autism community? Would you like to get involved and help raise money for the services Autism Tennessee provides to the community? There are several ways you can get started with an easy, do-it-yourself program! We provide all the information you need. The purpose of these programs is threefold: Raise awareness and understanding of autism, Provide the opportunity to support and participate in a worthwhile, local community project, and Raise money to support the work of your LOCAL autism support organization. Blue Jean Days Have your office participate in a Blue Jean Day for Autism! Employees give a donation in exchange for wearing blue jeans to work on any day of their choosing. Penny Drive Encourage your child’s school or your office to do a Penny Drive for Autism and bring in spare change and donations. Act for Autism This is a week-long program for schools that really want to get involved! Each day, students are encouraged to bring in donations to participate in different fun activities. Restaurants in Response Local restaurants donate a portion of the sales from a specific menu item of their choosing over the course of one day, one week, or an entire month!
