Development of Reading and Reading Comprehension in Children in First Through Fifth Grades


Participants needed for reading study of first-grade children

Study facilitators are seeking 6- to 8-year old first-grade children with or without reading disabilities who speak English as a first language for a study they are conducting. This research study investigates the development of reading and reading comprehension in children in first through fifth grades. There is an initial 30-minute screening visit at the end of first grade to determine eligibility for longitudinal study which follows children from second through fifth grades with four visits, one at the beginning of each school year.
