This workshop will explore the topic of Elopement (Wandering or Bolting from a safe place). Elopement and subsequent drowning is the #1 cause of death for children with autism. While this statistic is alarming, there are things to consider and prepare to protect your loved one. Join us as autism parent, Babs Tierno, speaks about her experiences with autism related elopement and shares many tips and interventions that are available to families.
