Parental Support for Speech-Generating Devices Posted December 14, 2016 | Leave a comment My name is Hannah Sanders and I am a graduate student studying Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Kansas. I have created a survey that is intended for the parents of children (age 3 to grade 12) who use a speech-generating device to communicate. I am conducting this survey in order to better understand the supports that parents receive after the child obtains the device. This survey would help speech-language pathologists to better understand what supports parents need in order to decrease device abandonment in the school system.
