Research on Experiences about Receiving Your Child’s Diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder Posted June 1, 2017 | Leave a comment Researchers at the University of South Dakota, along with the South Dakota Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (SD LEND) program, are conducting research on family experiences when seeking an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis for their child. They are interested in learning about your experience with emotions and potentially traumatic events, and most importantly, your experience when your child was diagnosed. The anonymous online survey will take about 30 minutes to complete. Your contributions to this research will help inform professionals serving you and your child and benefit future parents going through the diagnostic process. Five participants will be chosen at random to win one of five $20 Amazon gift cards.
