Job Club

David Griffin, Project Specialist

615-248-5878, ext 27

Job Club is a monthly workshop for individuals with IDD or other disabilities who are working or who are interested in working. They meet on the third Tuesday of every month  at Lipscomb University from 5:30 P.M.-7:00 P.M.

The purpose of Job Club is to provide a forum for informal training around topics related to working---how to get along with co-workers, applying for jobs and the interview process, professional clothing, appropriate behavior, working with difficult customers, calling off work appropriately, respecting your supervisor, learning difficult tasks, managing your money, etc.-----the topics are endless. This is a partnership with Laura Berry and Brian McNulty of Best Buddies, Inc,  Friend’s Life, and the Arc of TN.   Support staff of individuals requiring assistance in participation are welcome to attend.
