    We are currently looking for a Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children (ages 2-8) in a highly individualized and supported environment. This would likely start as a part time position, but could grow into a full-time position over your first few months at the company.

    All therapy sessions are carried out in the clients home or in our Nashville Clinic. Early Autism Services (EAS) is an established provider of ABA Therapy with ten years of experience implementing high quality programming nationwide. We are looking for motivated and driven candidates to grow with our organization and work well with our team. A successful candidate shares our core values of data driven treatment and respect for all individuals and is ready to learn.

    The duties of the Behavior Technician are:

    • Working with the child in a number of skill areas, such as conversation skills, fine / gross motor skills, self-help skills, and pre-academic skills.
    • Integrating the child's family into therapy sessions.
    • Data collection and making data-based decisions.
    • Learning strategies and procedures to teach children with developmental delays.
    • Attending team meetings and coordinating with a team of therapists.
    • Traveling to the home of each client on the therapist's caseload.

    Required experience:

    • This position requires a car, and willingness to travel throughout Nashville and surrounding areas.
    • Bachelors degree or pursuit of degree in psychology, education, child development, sociology, social work or related field.
    • Experience working with young children or children with disabilities.
    • RBT (Preferred)

    Job Description

    Job Title: BCBA
    Location: Brentwood TN
    Terms: Full Time Salary/Rate: 70,000

    About the Position: BCBAs work under the supervision and support of our clinical director. Know Boundaries is dedicated to providing a supportive and fun work environment at a company that provides exceptional services to every family in our care.

    Responsibilities: Provide effective and supportive supervision to all Behavior Therapists and Registered Behavior Therapists (RBTs), working on your teams. Assist in the implementation of ongoing feedback and training for staff members at Know Boundaries Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for clients and their families. Provide model teaching and other direct instructional supports including, but not limited to, practicum supervision/teaching, class instruction and in-service instruction to other support professionals. Complete assessments and functional behavior assessments. Develop appropriate behavior strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors and increase functional behaviors. Develop programming based off of assessments to increase skills and independence. Take and monitor ongoing data. Update programs based off of data. Develop Behavior Intervention Plans when necessary and train everyone involved with the client on that plan. Conduct supervision and family training on a regular basis. Meet as needed with supervised staff to discuss ongoing consumer issues and to provide support when necessary. Provide consultation services and to maintain ongoing communication with all constituents (other supports, parents, community, and community agencies). Keep current with the literature, new research findings and resources. In addition, continuing education courses to maintain BCBA certification are necessary. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Candidate Requirements: Maintain reliable transportation and insurance. Able to lift at least 40lbs. Masters degree in ABA. Good written and verbal communication skills.
