Spectrum Socials - Frequently Asked Questions

Autism Tennessee’s Social Events are monthly outings for a variety of interests within the autism community.

  • Is there a cost? Costs per event vary depending on the discount the partner organization offers.
  • How do I sign up?  Register on the website, under the Family Fun tab, or find the event on our calendar.
If you are an Advantage or Premier Member, you can register from the Member Homepage. Often, these membership levels receive pre-registration options for events that historically sell out.
  • Is childcare available? No. Typically, childcare is not provided. You should remain with your child at Family Fun events.
  • When are Family Fun events? Check the event for details. Details will be emailed to you after registration.
  • Where are Family Fun events? Check the event for details. Details will be emailed to you after registration.
  • Are there actual tickets? Sometimes! Read the details in the event and your emails. Sometimes there are no tickets. You just show upand check in with your name. Other times, we mail tickets. Finally, for some events, you pick up tickets from Autism TN's office.
  • Can I use my ticket/registration another time if I can't make the event? No. Autism TN partners with area venues to create events that support our population and is provided discounted tickets to be used only during the time agreed upon.
  • What if I register and then can't make it? Registration is not refundable within 72 hours prior to the event, unless the event is waitlisted and another family is able to use the registration. Please be sure to update your registration online when you receive a reminder email.
  • What if I forgot to pick up my tickets? You might be out of luck! Email events@autismtn.org and we will see what we can do.
  • How can I become a member? Click here to see the benefits and become a member.
  • What if I have other questions? No problem! Email events@autismtn.org
