AutismTN is excited to collaborate with our Community Partner, Vanderbilt University, and San Diego State University to offer a pilot driving program designed to help you build your driving skills and boost your confidence! Through the Drive To Thrive program, you’ll learn from evidence based curriculum and use the AI-VTSBS (AI-based Vehicle Technology Simulator with Behavioral Strategies) to enhance your driving abilities, all while contributing to important research. Don’t miss out on this unique learning opportunity!

Join us In-Person for:

8 Group Driving Curriculum Sessions
4-6 Individual Driving Simulator Practice Sessions

For Research Participation, You Will Receive:
Up to $75 in gift cards

Requirements for Participation

  • be 15 years of age or older (no maximum age)
  • be English-speaking
  • have an educational, medical, or self-diagnosis of Autism
  • be able to attend all 8 in-person group classes
  • be able to attend 4-6 Individual Driving Simulator Practice Sessions (45-60 minutes each)
  • complete post training assessments and feedback surveys




Drive To Thrive will begin in mid October, running through mid January.
