  • Help out with activities, keep participants engaged and moving. Assist with sensory needs.
  • Check in pre-registered walkers, assist un-registered walkers, collect pledge envelopes, distribute swag and provide general event information.
  • Finish line volunteers will cheer as walkers cross the finish line.
  • Volunteers will be responsible for welcoming people and direct them to appropriate areas of the walk venue, ensure volunteer lines are moving, and that walkers have all appropriate forms filled out before they get to the line. They will also answer questions or concerns as needed.
  • Volunteers will assist in creating a human wall to prevent wandering and elopement
  • Help ensure that participants have an enjoyable experience by providing First Aid/CPR if needed
  • Packet volunteers will help staff organize and stuff walk day bags/packets the day before the walk.
  • Help procure prizes for the walk!
  • Share your skills at the Pajama Walk to make it memorable.
  • Help with handing out food and drinks
  • Registration volunteers will help with registration, and provide general event information, and distribute swag.
  • Help out at the sensory station

Where: Southeast Regional Community Center

5260 Hickory Hollow Parkway, Antioch, TN

When: 7:00 -12:00 PM CST/8AM-1PM EST

We need your help to make this event successful!

  • All volunteers will be asked to help with event set up (starting at 7am) and post event tear down.  Please sign up to volunteer at the station that you would most prefer to work during the walk.
  • We will be having a short informational training on Monday, September 19th, 2022 at 6:30pm via Zoom.  Please make every effort to attend this training so that event day goes as smoothly as possible.  (A Zoom link will be included in your confirmation and reminder emails)
