Discover Adult Social Learning is an online group class for autistic adults (18+) who are looking to participate in discussions and expand their understanding of society's unwritten rules.

Using Dr. Elizabeth Laugeson’s innovative book, “The Science of Making Friends: Helping Socially Challenged Teens and Young Adults,” the group facilitator of Discover provides individuals with evidence-based tools for building friendships and relationships. The group facilitator is an adult on the autism spectrum who provides a safe environment and encourages individuals to discuss experiences with like-minded peers.

This curriculum based social skills course is designed to support adults on the autism spectrum (DSM Level 2 to Level 1). Self diagnosed autistic adults are encouraged to join.  Each session will be approximately 90 minutes total (two topics per session). For the first half, sessions will begin at a basic skill level. For the second half, sessions will expand on each specific topic in more detail. This group provides a safe environment and encourages individuals to discuss experiences with like-minded peers

A full course outline can be found HERE.
If you have any questions, please contact the group facilitator, Dave Griffin: dave@autismtn.org
