Volunteer Opportunity! AutismTN AfterBash

Registration

  • Auction Team team will help guests submit their silent auction bids, driving additional proceeds by making the overall donation process easier, and encouraging passing guests to stop by and submit bids.

    The auction team will also assist with checkout and collection once the auction has closed.

    Time: 5pm-10pm
  • Check-in volunteers will assist AutismTN staff and guests check in and/or purchase admission to the AfterBash.
    This will require a short pre-event training (approx. 30 minutes) Date and time TBD.

    Check in volunteers will be encouraged to enjoy the AfterBash once check-in is complete.
  • General Event Volunteers will:
    - assist in keeping the tables clear of used cups/plates
    -assist with closing of the silent and live auction by collecting and bagging purchased items for guests
    -assist in end of event clean up, boxing of decorations and loading out (many hands make light work!)
  • Setup will begin includes:
    - unloading boxes of event items
    - setting up the auction items
    - assisting in decorating the venue

    Approximate start time is 1 pm.
    Setup volunteers may take on another role during the event, if desired.

AutismTN seeks enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to assist with our 4th Annual AfterBash on Thursday, April 24, 2025! This exciting fundraiser supports AutismTN’s mission to create meaningful opportunities for connection and community for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Volunteers play a vital role in making this event a success, and we need your help!

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Setup: Assist with event preparation, including arranging tables, setting up decor, and organizing materials for a smooth event experience.
  • Check-in: Welcome guests as they arrive, ensure they have the necessary event materials, and provide directions as needed.
  • Auction Assistance: Help with the silent and live auctions, including setting up auction items, assisting attendees place silent auction item bids, and providing guests with assistance throughout the auction process.
  • Post-event Tear Down: After the event, help break down the setup, pack up and load materials.

Your time and efforts will directly impact the lives of individuals in the autism community by supporting our programs, such as Birthday Bash, Adult and Family groups, and more. We look forward to having you join us for a memorable evening!
