Where is the Pajama Walk & 5k being held?

When is the event and what are the start times of the 5k and Walk?
Saturday, September 21, 2024
5k Start Time: 8 a.m.  Runners should arrive by 7:15 a.m. to check in.  Runners are welcome to stay and participate in the additional activities after the race.
Walk Start Time: 10 a.m..  Walkers should arrive by 9 a.m. to check in. Walkers are welcome to arrive early to cheer on the 5k runners, visit exhibitors, and participate in additional activities.


How long is the walk?
The Pajama Walk will be 0.9 mile on a concrete trail. (Course map coming soon!)


What is the course of the 5k?
The 5k course map HERE.  The course is a beginner level paved trail.


Is Fundraising required to participate in the walk?
Everyone must signup to participate in the walk. Fundraising is encouraged, as every dollar raised helps to fund the vital programs of AutismTN. Individual fundraisers that raise at least $35 by August 21st will receive an event t-shirt.


Will fundraising individuals or teams be rewarded?
Yes! The top 3 (three) Fundraisers will receive trophies for your efforts.


How do I sign up for the walk?

Once the form is completed, you will be prompted to either Personalize Your Page or Join or Create Team.


How do I create a walk team?

Once you have registered using the step above, you will be prompted to either Personalize Your Page or Join or Create Team.

  1. Choose Join or Create Team
  2. Enter in the name of the team that you wish to create and click Create Team
  3. Upload a profile image
  4. Check or change your team name
  5. Set your team fundraising goal
  6. Optional: Upload up to 10 team images (will replace the Pajama Walk & 5K image)
  7. Personalize the message that you want your supporters to see.
  8. Click Save Changes
  9. To view your Page, click on the Open page in new tab icon (square with arrow)


How do I join an existing walk team?
Once you have registered using the step above, you will be prompted to either Personalize Your Page or Join or Create Team.

  1. Click on Join or Create Team
  2. Search for the team name that you wish to join and click Join
  3. You will receive a confirmation that you have joined the team.You will have the option to Personalize Your Page.


How do I personalize my page?

  1. Upload a profile image
  2. Set your fundraising goal
  3. Personalize the message that you want your supporters to see.
  4. Click Save Changes
  5. To view your Page, click on the "Open page in new tab" icon.

How do I share my page to my friends and family?
You will be assigned a unique code that can be shared.  The example here is code PJWALK5k4. Your network can use this code by texting it to 71777.  This will allow them to join your team or make a donation from a mobile device.

You can also share your page on social media using the Facebook and Twitter icons or email your page directly to your network using the envelope icon.
