What time does the 5k start?5k Start Time: 8 a.m.  Runners should arrive by 7:15 a.m. to check in.  Runners are welcome to stay and participate in the additional activities after the race.

Will there be awards for runners?
Yes! We’re recognizing top finishers in common age groups:
12 & Under
13–19
20–29
30–39
40–49
50–59
60+
Trophies will also be awarded to the Top 3 Overall Runners (not already winning an age group category)

What are the 5k details?
📍🔹This race happens rain or shine!
🚫 No refunds allowed.
🔹 Capped at 250 runners for safety.
🏅 All finishers receive a medal.
🔹 Runners have 1.5 hours to complete the course.
🔹 First-aid and water stations will be available.
🔹 Restrooms are available in the park, but not along the course.
🚫 Bikes, hoverboards, rollerblades, and pets are not allowed on the course. Walkers are welcome but must start at the back.
🐕‍🦺 Service animals are welcome on a leash and must start at the back for safety. Email us if you wish to run with your service animal. 

What are registration feees and price timeline?
Register by August 15, 2025 to guarantee your event T-shirt!
Late registrants may claim unclaimed shirts at the registration tent post-race (while supplies last).

✅ Race Day (if not sold out): $60
NOTE: Runners under 18 years old will receive a $15 discount on all registration fees

Is Fundraising required to participate in the 5k?
No. Everyone must signup and pay a registration fee to participate in the 5k. 

Can 5k runners also participate in the walk?
YES!  Please also signup for the walk using "Click Here to Walk" 

What is the course of the 5k?
The 5k course map. The course is a beginner-level paved trail.

What time does the walk start?
Walk Start Time: 10 a.m..  Walkers should arrive by 9 a.m. to check in. Walkers are welcome to arrive early to cheer on the 5k runners, visit exhibitors, and participate in additional activities.

How long is the walk?
The Pajama Walk will be 1 mile on a trail. The course is a flat, paved trail.

Is Fundraising required to participate in the walk?

Everyone must signup to participate in the walk. Fundraising is encouraged, as every dollar raised helps to fund the vital programs of AutismTN. Individual fundraisers that raise at least $35 by August 21st will receive an event t-shirt.

How do I create a walk team?
Once you have registered using the step above, you will be prompted to either Personalize Your Page or Join or Create Team.

1. Choose Join or Create Team
2. Enter in the name of the team that you wish to create and click Create Team
3. Upload a profile image
4. Check or change your team name
5. Set your team fundraising goal
6. Optional: Upload up to 10 team images (will replace the Pajama Walk & 5K image)
7. Personalize the message that you want your supporters to see.
8. Click Save Changes
9. To view your Page, click on the Open page in new tab icon (square with arrow)

How do I join an existing walk team?
Once you have registered using the step above, you will be prompted to either Personalize Your Page or Join or Create Team.

1. Click on Join or Create Team
2. Search for the team name that you wish to join and click Join. 
3. You will receive a confirmation that you have joined the team.You will have the option to Personalize Your Page.

How do I personalize my page?

1. Upload a profile image
2. Set your fundraising goal
3. Personalize the message that you want your supporters to see.
4. Click Save Changes
5. To view your Page, click on the "Open page in new tab" icon.
