Event Description:

Executive functioning is a common challenge for many individuals on the autism spectrum.  Challenges may include deficits in organization, planning, and self-regulation. The Spectrum Experience and Executive Functioning will provide an overview of executive functioning, and provide parents/caregivers with strategies and tools to support your person with autism. 

Presented by: 

Terri Flynn, MS, CCC-SLP  is a speech language pathologist specializing in autism and feeding disorders.  She has a Master's Degree from Ole Miss., and is the owner and founder of the Speech Language & Learning Centers in Columbia and Lawrenceburg, Tennessee providing speech, occupational and physical therapy services to children for 33 years.  Her organization, SLLC, has been active provider member of Autism Tennessee since its inception.  

Workshop Goals: 

Participants will learn how skills such as, problem solving, working memory, attention, sequencing, and reasoning, affect learning and daily living.
