Event Description:

Circle of Safety will cover the different levels of intimacy and help participants understand how to form and maintain relationships according to social norms. The workshop will explore relationship boundaries and relationship-specific behaviors. For example, it’s okay to hug your mother, but it’s not okay to hug the mail carrier. The presenter will also emphasize the role of mutual choice among individuals when deciding what level of intimacy will characterize a relationship. This presentation is for individuals of all ages on the autism spectrum.
