Everyone needs help making decisions at one time or another. Some people need more help than others.  Determining the right amount and type of decision-making support can be difficult. At the TN Center for Decision-Making Support, The ARC provides easy to understand information, resources, best practice tools  and referral services to help individuals find the right decision-making supports for their unique needs.  The Center is a virtual resource center that provides one-on-one assistance to help guide families through the transition stages of life for individuals with limited or diminished decision-making capacity.

In this session attendees will learn about Supported Decision-Making and other decision-making options, such as Conservatorship, Power of Attorney, Special Needs Trust, ABLE accounts, etc.   They will receive a tour of the Center website and how to use the resources to determine the best decision-making supports and plan for the person they support.

Date; November 17th,  2022
